Online donations can be made via Stanford's Giving Portal: makeagift.stanford.edu. This is the fastest and most convenient way to make a donation for any amount. Here are the instructions for making a gift from your computer:

Credit Card

• Note: a 2.3% credit card processing fee is deducted from the overall contribution
• Navigate to Stanford's Giving Portal, makeagift.stanford.edu
• Select - I want to support: Centers, Institutes and more
• Select - Other Designation
• Enter under Special instructions/Other designation: VSO - Stanford Solar Car Project (ASSU #7848) to ensure accurate handling
• Continue filling out the form by creating an account or continuing as a guest
• Please notify Stanford's Office of Development at [email protected] and provide the following:
  • Date of credit card transaction
  • Dollar amount
  • Name of donor company
  • Credit card holder's full name
  • Recipient: Stanford Solar Car Project (very important!)
